Fiat delayed the launch of the Grande Punto in India to strengthen its dealer network across the country before the launch as Fiat has always been highly optimistic about the sales of the Grande Punto. The updated Punto is quite different from the on-going model. The car gets new front fascia that incorporates swept-back headlights, a new square shaped chrome front grille and tweaked bumpers. While under the hood, the car gets its tried and trusted powertrain. The petrol model gets 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns a power of 67bhp while the diesel lineup carries 1.3-litre engine tuned in way to develop a power in two outputs- 75bhp and 90bhp.
